Vince McMahon Laying Low At Television Events, WWE Merchandise Sales, Papa Shango

- At WWE's weekly Raw events, Vince McMahon generally only meets with producers and other officials, with most talent only encountering him when they head to the curtain. Furthermore, he does not attend approximately half of the SmackDown tapings because he feels it necessary that Paul "Triple H" Levesque gain experience in taking charge of shows because he will ultimately be the leader of the company.

When Levesque is in charge of events, the atmosphere is described as being more chaotic. It is said that when disagreements or problems arise, there is nobody in the Vince role of putting his foot down and saying, "This is how it's going to be done."

- WWE merchandise sales has been described as "haves" and "have nots." A few talents are reportedly making "great money," with all others not faring too well.

- During a recent interview, Charles Wright revealed that WWE had plans for him to return as grittier version of Papa Shango in 1997, but the idea was ultimately shelved due the introduction of another dark, supernatural character in Kane. In response to feedback on Twitter, Wright said Jerry Lawler assisted him with the character's look and that he may post online a Polaroid photo that was taken then if he can find it.

Earl Hebner And Julie Hart Remember "The Montreal Screwjob" Fifteen Years Later

Julie Hart and Earl Hebner both joined Inside The Ropes (www.facebook.com/theinsidenetwork) to talk about "The Montreal Screwjob" and their thoughts after 15 years........

The highlights from Earl Hebner's chat are:

His thoughts when he heard Bret didn't want to drop the belt to Shawn: "Bret had plenty of time to drop the belt. He could've dropped it in the United States. I didn't know much about the deal with those two but he could've dropped the belt to anyone, hell he could've dropped it to me. But he had an ego and he didn't wanna do it. Time was running out. If you're leavin you drop the strap, he didn't wanna do it. If you remember Alundra Blayze went down there and dropped the Womens belt in the trash. Now if you have a $3 million deal to go to another company, why would you even hesitate to drop the belt? I mean why? Your moneys already guaranteed when you get there. Just drop it and go. A lot of people put him over, made him who he is. So he's gonna refuse to drop it and make those guys look like idiots? This business is a work."

On him telling Bret he swore on his kids lives he wouldn't let anything happen in Montreal: "I was sitting on a plane with Bret. His very words "Will you count me out?" I said "If you keep your shoulder up, I will not count you out" Which I didn't count him out. Did he get pinned 1.2.3? You stop and think about my position. I'm thinking about the guys in the back. Austin, Undertaker, Rocky all the guys that put him over as being the Worlds Champion, we made him what he was, so he's leaving us and he's screwing us because he doesn't want to drop the belt. So on my way to the ring, I'm thinking it's not fair. Someone asked me, I won't say who, about two minutes before I walked to the ring, I said I can't tell you what I'm gonna do, but when I walked to the ring, I thought about all the boys back in the dressing room, so it wasn't right for him to screw 25 guys because of his stubbornness, so thats why I did what I did. When McMahon and Sgt Slaughter came to the ring, whether I had done it or not, that bell was gonna ring. The only thing that made it more official is that I motioned for the bell."

If he thinks Montreal was a work: "It could have been a work. McMahon, Bret, WCW could've all been in on it for all I know. I'm gonna go 50/50 on it. I think it was but I can't say for sure, but look where Bret is now."

In the rest of the chat, Earl talks about the relationship between Shawn and Bret, how Undertaker felt about the situation the next day, his conversations with Bret since Montreal, Bret's 2010 return and whether he was contacted to appear by the WWE at WrestleMania 26 and more. Check it out at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kaYdS5rhHvk.

The highlights from Julie Hart's Chat:

When Bret got suspicious that he might get screwed: "It wasn't really till we got to Montreal. I remember someone came to Bret and told him that they'd saw Shawn getting into an elevator with Vince in his hotel and that kinda got Bret a little worried. That was earlier in the day. The kids and I had gone shopping and when we got back, Bret said he had to go talk to our lawyer who was in town with us as well. The source, I can't tell you who it is, but the source had said what happened, so bret went over to our lawyer to talk about it and that's when Bret really started getting nervous."

Michael Saxon Featured On "Are You Serious?", Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson Discusses Rugby

- Speaking to Australian website Courier Mail, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson talked about how tough it is to play rugby.

"I use to live in New Zealand for sometime and I went to school in New Zealand and I played rugby. I have been very lucky, I played American football for a very long time, American professional wrestling for a very long time and had my fair share of action in Hollywood … there is no tougher sport than rugby," Johnson said.

"And for those who have played it and understand the game know what I am talking about and those who don't and I have this argument with my American buddies all the time who are great football players and I tell them 'so as amazing as you are in football I want you to take all your pads off including your helmet and go play the game and see how long you last'. So no I don't wish I was playing."

The full article is available here.

- This week's edition of Are You Serious? is highlighted by Michael Saxon, a mid-1980s WWF enhancement wrestler who portrayed himself similar to pop superstar Michael Jackson. Also featured are clips of the King of the Road Match from WCW's Uncensored 1995 featuring Dustin Rhodes against Blacktop Bully, a message from Ultimate Warrior, and a misstep from Shelton Benjamin.

Reasons Behind Mickie James' Absence From TV, Christopher Daniels Talks Wrestling And Comics

Source: Wrestling Observer Newsletter

- The Nov. 12 Impact Wrestling taping in Orlando, Florida, featured the television return of Mickie James following a three-and-a-half-month absence. Her hiatus was due to multiple reasons, including a major medical one.

With TNA creative's shift in recent months to solely focusing on talent with etched storylines, James' screen time was drastically curtailed in the spring and summer, leading to her being removed altogether in August. In September, she aggravated a rib injury during a live event tour and decided to take away from the ring. During her hiatus, she underwent surgery to remove a large benign mass, according to the Wrestling Observer. In October, James tweeted a photo of herself at the hospital after having undergone surgery, but did not mention the nature of the procedure.

James was said to be in great spirits on the night of her return.

- Speaking to Pipedream Comics, Christopher Daniels explained why there are a lot of similarities between wrestling and comics.

"I think that both offer the type of escapism that people are looking for in their entertainment, the type where good eventually triumphs over evil, where everything turns out good in the end. And while, the journey to that climax is happening, mood twists and turns keep an audience wanting more," said Daniels.

In response to a question asking which wrestlers in TNA, WWE and even Ring of Honor would make the best comic characters, he said, "Well we're all just comic book characters come to life anyway but for the sake of this particular question I'll go with the most colorful and charismatic of characters: Rey Mysterio, Brodus Clay, Sin Cara, Kane, AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Curry Man and El Generico. And yours truly, of course!"

Daniels also talks about wanting to develop a comic based on his wrestling persona, reading comics on digital devices and more. The full interview is available here.

WWE Saturday Morning Slam Recap: Gabriel Vs. El Local, Uso's Vs. 3MB, Pie-Eating Contest

Welcome to the WrestlingInc.com WWE Saturday Morning Slam Recap.

We begin this week with the question, "Do you like pie?" We will have a pie-eating contest today but first…

We go to the ring for El Local. Josh Mathews welcomes us to the show. He is flanked by R-Truth. Justin Gabriel is out next.

El Local vs. Justin Gabriel

They go back and forth with counters, move for move. The action spills to the apron, EL Local drops Gabriel in the ring but we don't see the impact. El Local hits a suplex and gets 2. El Local works the left arm of Gabriel. Gabriel fights out and hits a monkey flip that is kind of botched. Gabriel hits a shoulderblock off the corner and runs up Local's back and flips like Spiderman. Gabriel hits a sit-down powerbomb for 2. Gabriel hits a moonsault out of the corner and hooks the far leg for the win.

Winner by pin: Justin Gabriel

-3rd Degree: What are you thankful for?
Eve is thankful for her friends and family. Drew McIntyre is thankful for 3MB and the beautiful music they bring to the world. Mick Foley says great hair, one ear, winning smile. Santino like the companionship the Cobra brings him. Dolph Ziggler is basically thankful for being a gift to the world while staying humble through the whole thing.

-We segue into clips of previous WWE Thanksgiving feasts with pie. We see Miz in front of a black curtain as he welcomes us to the pie eating contest. He welcomes R-Truth and Little Jimmy, Santino, and Zack Ryder. They are seated at a table. Miz says they have one minute to eat as many pies as they can. They start to bury their faces into the pies. Miz calls stop. Miz determines Santino as the winner. Ryder and Truth get up and pie-face Santino. Miz leaves and a food fight ensues. Brodus Clay shows up with the Funkadactyls and says you can't have a party with him. Santino has a sugar-rush and falls out. We go to break.

-3MB walk to the ring. The Uso's make their entrance.

The Uso's vs. 3MB (Mahal & Slater) w/ McIntyre

Slater has added eyeliner to his look and it fits well with the gimmick. Slater starts with Jey, I believe. Slater gets the best of Uso and goes to his corner where Jinder Mahal starts to play guitar with Slater's body as Slater plays air-guitar. Jey and Slater go back and forth. Jey gets the upper-hand and does some break dancing and tags in Jimmy for some double teaming. They launch both Slater and Mahal to the floor. We go to commercial.

-Antonio Cesaro brings us this week's PSA to not try this at home.

-We're back to action in the ring. Mahal gets a 2 on Jimmy. Mahal continues to cut the ring off and tags Slater in. Drew goes to the announce booth and starts bragging at Truth and Josh that this is tag team wrestling. Truth very comically asks Josh who he's talking to. Josh says Drew was referring to Truth & Kofi's team. Truth says Drew was talking to Little Jimmy, not him. Jimmy turns it up against Slater and leaps to make the tag to Jey. Jey explodes on Slater with a flurry. Jey hits the Running Stinkface on Slater and drags him to the center but Mahal breaks the pin. Jimmy comes in and takes care of Mahal. Jey goes up top and avoids Drew on the apron but Slater runs up out of nowhere and powerslams Jey off the top and makes the cover for the nice finish.

Winners by pin: 3MB

3MB celebrate in the ring as we go off the air.

We start tonight with a recap of the AJ-Cena storyline and the Ryback and Big Show-Sheamus situations. Tonight, Randy Orton faces Dolph Ziggler.

-We go straight to the ring where MizTV is setup. Miz waists little time welcoming John Cena.

Cena moves the stool and sits on the couch. He says he loves what Miz has done with the place. Miz says lately Cena's life has turned into a TMZ tabloid. Miz shows the video of Cena & AJ kissing from RAW. Cena looks flustered. Miz asks how the kiss was and Cena gets up. Miz says he meant the knee. Miz shows Cena's injury from RAW. Cena says Miz is late on the info because he had an MRI and he is fine and can compete. Cena wants the tough questions. Miz says he believes Cena and AJ were just friends, but how about now? Cena says the kiss was just to give something to talk about but he did like it and AJ's a good kisser. Miz does his "Really?" thing and Cena plays along. Miz asks if they're more than just friends. Before Cena can speak, AJ's music hits and she comes skipping down to the ring.

AJ says Cena doesn't have to answer that. Miz mocks her and says that tough questions come with the territory. Miz tries to sophomorically stir things up between them. Cena asks for some time with AJ and Dolph Ziggler's music hits and he comes on the stage.

Ziggler says AJ is trouble and she is the reason it was so easy to set Cena up. Ziggler asks how Cena's knee is by the way. He says if he was Cena, he would hate AJ's guts. He shows a clip from RAW as AJ bursts into the men's locker room and confronts Ziggler then attacks him, then Ziggler beats up Cena. Vickie Guerrero interrupts and comes on the stage. She tells Cena his girlfriend should control her impulses. She runs AJ down and says Ziggler kisses strong, passionate people. Cena says we can't medically prove she's a woman still. Vickie says she wasn't talking about herself because their relationship is professional. Ziggler says if he kissed AJ it would make her a real woman. Cena says Vickie enjoys eating nuts and Ziggler still can't find his. Cena's music hits and everybody leaves the ring.

-We go to Ryback's entrance.

Ryback vs. Darren Young

Titus O'Neil is on commentary. Young gets in some shots in on Ryback. Ryback turns things around and overpowers him. Titus banters at ringside. Young rolls out of the ring and Titus blows hits whistle to warn Ryback not to attack. Ryback disregards and hits Young and says "I hit hard." Titus says somebody needs to give Ryback some medication. Ryback takes Young's head off in the ring and hits his finisher for the win.

Winner by pin: Ryback

Titus gets in the ring as JBL warns him not to. Titus starts to ask Ryback what is wrong with him. He blows his whistle and Ryback drops him in his finisher as well. Ryback chants in the ring. We go to break.

Backstage News On The Miz Turning Babyface, WWE Working On Big Celebration In 2013

Source: Wrestling Observer Newsletter

- One of the main reasons WWE is turning The Miz babyface is because he has two movies coming out next year that will be centered around him. Another reason is because he was starting to get cheered a lot in some of the European venues on the recent tour. The Miz as a babyface failed early in his career but now he's not really seen as "a reality TV star trying to be a wrestler" so the feeling is it may work this time.

- WWE will be facing a major project in 2013 as they prepare to celebrate their 50th anniversary. It would really be the anniversary of the WWE Title, which took the name in early 1963 when it was announced on TV that Buddy Rogers had won a tournament in Brazil to become the new Worldwide Wrestling Federation world champion. This came when Vince McMahon Sr. and those who worked with him in the Northeast withdrew from the NWA over their decision to take the title off Rogers and put it on Lou Thesz. Rogers was first billed as WWWF Champion around May 1963 on TV but most remembrances of the title date back to May 17th, 1963 when Bruno Sammartino beat Rogers in 48 seconds at Madison Square Garden to begin an almost eight-year reign.

For the celebration in 2013, WWE already had a DVD planned and other ideas are being discussed to go along with it.

-We go to the ring where Jeremy Borash introduces Wes Briscoe, who is in the ring. Borash introduces his Gut Check: Garett Bischoff.

Gut Check: Wes Briscoe vs. Garett Bischoff

They lock up and Wes gets an early takedown. Garett responds with one of his own. They trade counters as they feel each other out. They go to a stalemate and cheers. Kurt Angle comes down to take a closer look. They hit simultaneous dropkicks and reset. More back and forth. Wes gets a quick 1. Angle cheers Wes from ringside. Garett hits a shoulderblock and trades shots with Wes. Wes drops him in a neckbreaker and gets another 1. Wes works up from a side headlock and hits a corkscrew crossbody and they trade near-falls. The pace quickens with more one-ups-man-ship. Wes rolls Garett up out of nowhere and gets a win.

Winner by pin: Wes Briscoe

Angle comes in and congratulates Wes. Garett raises Wes' arm and they embrace.

-We go to the back with all the previous Gut Check winners. Al Snow gives them a pep talk and says they can call out anyone they want.

-We're back from a break as Joey Ryan comes to the ring. Ryan cuts a promo on Hulk Hogan and calls out Chavo Guerrero.

Open Fight Night: Joey Ryan vs. Chavo Guerrero

Ryan goes right at Chavo on his way into the ring and Chavo turns things around in the corner. Ryan tries to get a time-out. Chavo hits uppercuts but Ryan catches him with a reverse elbow and poses in the ropes. Chavo charges in but Ryan hits him with a nice dropkick and does some more posing. Ryan works the neck as Chavo fights up. Chavo hits his own dropkick to a charging Ryan and they trade shots in the center. Chavo hits a head scissors takedown and a Senton into the ring from the apron. Chavo hits the 3 Amigos on Ryan and calls for the finisher. Chavo goes up top but Matt Morgan comes in and chokeslams Chavo down to the mat. Hernandez runs down and Morgan escapes.

Winner by disqualification: Chavo Guerrero

-We go to the back where Austin Aries is asked about Open Fight Night. Aries says the person he calls out needs not a Gut Check but a reality check. He says it will be a family affair and he can't wait. We go to break.

-We're back as Sam Shaw is introduced. Shaw calls out the first Gut Check winner, Alex Silva.

Open Fight Night: Sam Shaw vs. Alex Silva

Silva goes right at Shaw upon entering the ring and takes full control. Silva stops to play to the crowd. Silva makes a cover but Shaw quickly kicks out. Silva goes for a leg drop but Shaw moves out of the way. Silva sends Shaw in and follows in with a clothesline in the corner. Silva continues to dominate and shouts out Canada. Silva hits a scoop slam and stomps Shaw on the mat. Shaw lands on his feet after a back body drop and hits a spear on Silva with some ground and pound. Shaw hits some dropkicks and a nice combination. Shaw comes off the top with a dropkick for the upset.

Triple H Explains Why He Cut Off His Ponytail

Promoting WrestleMania XXIX at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, Paul "Triple H" Levesque, WWE Executive Vice President of Talent and Live Events, appeared on WHEB-FM's "The Morning Buzz." During the radio interview, he explained that he cut off his trademark ponytail in September because wearing it on a daily basis in the corporate environment had become an increasing nuisance.

"To be honest, the hair actually didn't have that much to do with the corporate position as much as it did with... For years when I was wrestling and I wore my hair down all the timeâ€"I'd go through airports whenever I let my hair down, it didn't matterâ€"and just in that [corporate] environment I was wearing my hair up all the time. It just got to be such a pain that for the last year and a half I've been dying to cut it off. It just started to become the bane of my existence, my hair every day, and I never wore it down; I just couldn't wait for the time when I could finally get rid of it," Levesque explains.

"And it's the weirdest thing. To me, it wasn't that big of a deal and I didn't really put that much thought into it, but then I literally did it in the morning, drove to the office, there was a couple of people outside, I took a few pictures as I was walking in, and I went inside. I got upstairs, it wasn't even ten minutes later, and someone came up, "Dude, you're all over TMZ that you cut your hair."

WWE Employees Assigned To Watch TNA And ROH, WWE Promotes CM Punk's Talk Show Appearance

Source: F4WOnline

- To correct a report from last week on WWE opening Raw broadcasts with a man narrating video packages after Vince McMahon was shown a tape of TNA Wrestling's Impact Wrestling show, he was actually informed of the concept by an employee and upon being intrigued, immediately concluded that his company could do it better. It was noted that if he had actually watched an Impact Wrestling opening, he probably would have been embarrassed with WWE blatantly copying an idea from TNA.

Multiple members of WWE's creative staffâ€"more their assistantsâ€"are assigned to watch tapes of TNA, Ring of Honor and WWE's NXT, and file a report on its contents. There are other employees who work in the same capacity as consultants for the company.

Though some creative writers joined WWE with no knowledge of professional wrestling whatsoever, there are some who were prior fans.

- The official WWE website is now promoting CM Punk's scheduled appearance on Talking Dead this Sunday night at at 11 p.m. on AMC, a live talk show that discusses episodes of the popular The Walking Dead drama series.

Yesterday on Twitter, Punk vented on WWE not promoting his talk show appearance nor his return home to Chicago tomorrow as Official Grand Marshal of the McDonald's Thanksgiving Parade. He wrote, "Yes, I will be on @AMCTalkingDead on Sunday. Shocking how WWE didn't promote it or get AMC the proper materials in time to announce it. I will also be the Grand Marshall in the Chicago turkey day parade. Also not announced or promoted by "my" company. Shocking. This is what happens when you go over everyone's head to hustle and acquire your own outside appearances. #disrespect."

Jake Roberts Says He Has Considered Suicide

This past Tuesday night, WWE Legend Jake "The Snake" Roberts appeared was interviewed by Simon Cassidy and David Thomson on the Big WrestleShark Show on 98.4 Pulse FM. In an exclusive half hour interview, Jake spoke openly and frankly about his past, his personal problems, how he became involved with Diamond Dallas Page and his plans for the future. For more the full interview and more information, head over and like www.Facebook.com/BigWrestleSharkShow. Highlights from the interview are as follows:

On his personal problems and past injuries: "You're gets broken down..I had two discs removed from my neck, hip replacement, part of my left foot removed, compound fracture in my right arm, wrist reconstruction, broken sternum splice. Other than that, I was in horrible shape…I had a well-publicised, by my own admissions, a career with alcohol and drugs did not help my situation. I had become so depressed that, not that I would have ever done it…I may have tried a couple of times…but suicide was something I thought about a lot. So depressed that I had blown my career…I could have been so much more than I was. Gone through three marriages, fathered eight children but wasn't a dad to any of them, I was too busy wrestling or being high. You start looking at yourself at that point and you hate yourself…I had a lot of shame, a lot of anger, a lot of freakin' anger, basically I had given up. I didn't want to live. I had no hope. I had no dreams. I hope nob ody out there gets to that point, but when you quit dreaming, when you quit having hope, it's a pretty god dam horrible place to be. You don't care if you breath. You don't care about anything.

On his recent "Resurrection" through DDPYoga: "Dallas called me, asked how I was doing, I bullsh*ted and I lied, said I was getting through it, and he said 'man…you don't sound right?' Well man, it is what it is, I just don't give a sh*t anymore. I buried my father, my mother was in poor health, a whole bunch of reasons to use and I sure took advantage of them. I'd drink…because that was the only time I could forget where I was at. He said he wanted come see me and to send me some yoga stuff and I was like 'are you f*cking kidding me? Right, Jake 'The Snake' is doing yoga! I may have been screwed up enough to play a snake, but I ain't doing yoga dude.'

"He said, if you'll try…and you start losing weight…there might be something I can do for you, and it would be long term and would be an opportunity…to try something different since the bullsh*t I was doing obviously wasn't working…so I did the food thing for like ten 11 days, didn't really think a whole lot about it, then one day I got on the scale and was like 'holy sh*t I've lost 14lbs, what the hell's wrong with me? I must be dying!' That was the first time I thought this might actually work…a couple weeks later he came down…and was like, ok 'keep doing the good work, when you get down to 30lbs, we'll move you down to Atlanta, and we'll get serious on this sh*t'…at that point I was still drinking too much, but we'll get to that in a minute."

On his recent inebriated appearance at an Indie Event: "When I got down to Atlanta, DDP was like 'OK, the first thing we need to talk about is your drinking…why do you drink?' and I was just like 'Well, I like it'…so I'm like OK,OK,OK I'll play your silly f*cking game and I said well how about a couple of beers? So he agreed, we'll try sticking to two beers. Well that lasted about a week…

Backstage News On Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins And Roman Reigns Debuting At WWE's Survivor Series PPV

Source: F4WOnline

Some of the WWE NXT talents were tweeting about a "NXT invasion" when Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns made their debut at Survivor Series last night in the main event. We haven't heard any plans for a full-scale invasion but there has been talk of bringing some NXT Divas to the main roster soon. The fact that Michael Cole hyped Reigns, Ambrose and Rollins being from NXT had people talking backstage last night.

Regarding Ambrose and Rollins, it's said that they have been ready for the main roster since WWE signed them to developmental deals. They feel Rollins needs some promo work but he is great in the ring.

Reigns, who is now tweeting @WWEThoroughbred, wrote the following last night after Survivor Series:

"I think I made a name for myself tonight......#survivorseries #nxtinvasion"

It's interesting that WWE profiled Reigns on their website late last night and did not mention his wrestling history. Reigns is the son of WWE Hall of Famer Sika and brother to Matt "Rosey" Anoa'i. His cousin is The Rock. It's said that out of the three, Reigns was the least ready for the main roster. It's also said that out of all the guys in developmental, Triple H has been the highest on Reigns overall.

Developmental Wrestler Goes Off On WWE On Twitter, Says He's Not Afraid To Get Fired

Brandon Carter, a former offensive tackle for Texas Tech University who WWE signed this year to a developmental contract and now performs under the name TAC, posted a multitude of messages on his Twitter account Saturday criticizing the product of his employer.

As a life-long WWE fan and owner of over 900 action figures, Carter says the company's shows have been "on repeat" for ten years and that fans deserve change. The football-player-turned-grappler wants to be the one to bring change to WWE, even going as far to put his job on the line.

"I am here to bring change to #wwe to give power to the people instead of telling you what to love #TACRevolution," he wrote to a fan.

"Not one person in developmental or #wwe have the accolades that I do, yet they act like they are deserved something. #wwe you deserve more! Same generic cookie cutter wrestlers. ONE speaks out and he's a REVOLUTION starter? Change is coming! #wwe you deserve it! #TAC REVOLUTION."

Carter continued, "#wwe you deserve a REAL REVOLUTION. A revolution is not taking the mic from @JohnCena FOLLOW ME! I ill bring you to a REVOLUTION! #TAC.

"Everybody is afraid of getting fired and that's why they play it safe! Thats why what you #wwe fans get is all the same old stuff

"Don't you #wwe fans want something new? A real revolution? A real change? Demand it. I will lead you #TAC revolution.

"not afraid to get fired. It's happened before. But if I don't attempt to make a change in what I love, that means I failed all of you #wwe

"I'm sure right now people are squirming in their seats in Connecticut! But we all know what needs to be done #wwe #TAC revolution follow me!

"Don't all of you want change?Do you feel like you've been watching the same show on repeat since '02?Get behind me and we will make a change.

"I can't lower your taxes, or bring you health care. But what I can do is bring change to what you love, #wwe #TACRevolution

"No one will stand up for what they believe in because they are a puppet to the "machine" I have cut my own strings to bring you change! #wwe."

DDP Talks About The Resurrection Of Jake Roberts

This past Tuesday, former WCW World Champion Diamond Dallas Page was interviewed on the Big WrestleShark Show on Pulse FM in the UK. Among other topics, he discussed Jake "The Snake" Roberts moving in with him and getting his life back on track through DDPYoga.

It was also announced that Jake Roberts will be on next week's show. Full details can be found on Facebook.com/BigWrestleSharkShow.

"I bought a house in Atlanta Georgia. Basically we're filming a REAL reality show, we don't set up anything, we just film during the day, Jake 'The Snake' Roberts has moved in here. Jake started with us close to four months ago, we went down to Texas and filmed Jake, we wanted to have day one, we're filming a documentary: 'The Resurrection of Jake 'The Snake' Roberts'. The tagline is, it's never too late to heal yourself, to bring your body back, to bring your mind back, when you guys talk to him next week you'll see what I'm talking about.

"Jake's down 40lbs, when we filmed him to begin with, just standing up and going to the floor to do a push up. He couldn't do it. He had to have a chair or a table to push himself up. Now he can.

"The whole point of the Resurrection of Jake is to go out on his terms. We say it all the time, his history is not his destiny and he knows that he messed up. He knows he dropped the ball numerous times. He knows he's a junkie and an alcoholic, so we provide here at my house that we call the 'accountability crib', you're accountable for everything! He has really come light years in a very short time, he still has a long way to go. The goal is to not have it end the way it ended, you know, on TMZ. Where he was all sh*tfaced in the ring and couldn't do anything. The guy was one of the greatest performers of all time, he wants to go out with some dignity. So we want to get him ready for either one last tour or one last match, we'll see how that works out. And hopefully he can retire with his head held high."

The Big WrestleShark Show is broadcast live every Tuesday night at 10pm on 98.4 Pulse FM and PulseonAir.co.uk, hosted by Simon and David from WrestleShark.com, stand-up comedian Billy Kirkwood (who has supported the likes of Mick Foley and just last week, William Regal) and Insane Championship Wrestling star Chris Renfrew. More information can be found on Facebook.com/BigWrestleSharkShow.

Chris Jericho On Not Talking On TV For A Month, Almost Quitting WWE In 2000, Internet Spoilers

Source: Inside The Ropes

Chris Jericho joined Inside The Ropes on Thursday night. Highlights are as follows:

Reason behind him not talking for a month on TV when he came back to WWE in 2012: "It was Vince's idea for me to come out and not say anything and I knew when I came back people would be cheering me because I'd been gone for so long so I thought whats the best way to take away what the people want?People wanna hear this character speak So I thought what if I just don't talk so it was Vince's idea for me to not say anything and it went so well to the point where I said why don't I just not talk for the entire month on the air or whatever and that's kinda what we did."

Thoughts on people posting spoilers online like the picture of him at Nashville Airport or news leaking that Brock Lesnar was in talks with WWE: "I think that people feel entitled nowadays because of the internet, they think they have the right to know what's going on even before it happens and with that picture in Nashville, I was 250 miles away so who could say I would've been going to RAW? I could've been in Nashville or Atlanta but I think it peaked the fans interest. It's funny though because that picture of me ended up being super imposed of me like walking down abbey road with The Beatles, I was standing at the JFK assasination, the pyramids of Egypt, all these funny things of like 'Oh Where's Jericho?' .......I think if you don't wanna read spoilers then don't go online. I think there's a small amount of people who watch every week that read the spoilers, just like a small amount that read Billboard Magazine if you're a musician or Variety magazine if you're an actor. But I think the majority of people don't really give a s--t and they just wanna watch and see how it unfolds. That's the way I am. If i go to a movie, I don't wanna know the ending or know the plot before I see it, I wanna watch it the way it was meant to be seen."

How he almost quit the WWF the night he won the title from Triple H in 2000: "I remember the week before I lost to Viscera on Sunday Night Heat and I was like "This is it" I was pissed off, I was ready to quit. I showed up that day and i told one of the writers "I'm done, this is bulls--t" At that point I wanted to go, nobody was forcing me to quit, I just wasn't doing anything. Brian told me "Maybe you should wait before you go talk to him" He said "You're gonna win the title tonight" I think it was a test to see what the crowd would do. I think if Vince knew how the crowd would react he might not have had me lose it later that night but it was the first test that I had that I passed with flying colours not just with Vince but with Triple H as well. It was the first time I'd had a great match in WWE. Even though I lost, I won that night. Thats what led to my last man standing match with Tripl e H."

Zack Ryder vs. Kofi Kingston

Kofi and Ryder lock up and Kofi backs him into the corner and does the Boom Boom Boom. Ryder repays the favor and does the Whoo Whoo Whoo. They lock up a third time and Kofi goes behind and pulls Ryder's headband over his eyes and Ryder stumbles around the ring. Kofi sends him in and Ryder bounces off the ropes and takes a spill on the mat. Kofi rolls him up for 2. Ryder rolls out of the ring to regroup. Ryder looks at his headband and then at Kofi and asks him if he's "serious, bro." Ryder hands his headband to his CoBro tag team partner, Santino, and they fist-bump.

Kofi opens the ropes for Ryder to re-enter the ring. Kofi holds out his hand and Ryder grabs it and pulls him into a pin for 2. Kofi asks him if he's serious. They exchange go-behinds and Ryder drop toe-holds Kofi into the corner but they don't show it. Ryder goes for the Boot in the corner but Kofi ducks out of the ring. Ryder slingshots over the top and to the floor but Kofi has it scouted and jumps in the ring and dives out but Ryder moves and Kofi lands on his feet on the apron. We go to commercial.

We're back as Ryder has a body scissors wrapped around Kofi in the ring. Kofi gets out and slingshots Ryder onto the apron. Ryder sunset flips into the ring and makes a cover for 2 and they exchange pins back and forth. Kofi starts to get his 2nd wind and begins his match-ending routine. They counter each other's finishers but Kofi comes off the top with a crossbody for the win.

Winner by pin: Kofi Kingston

Kofi and Ryder slap hands and Ryder raises Kofi's hand as we go off the air.

Shane Douglas Talks Turning Down TNA, Tonight's Extreme Rising IPPV, Matt Hardy, More

Raj Giri of WrestlingINC.com recently spoke with Shane Douglas about tonight's Extreme Rising iPPV from the Golden Dome in Monaca, PA. You can purchase tickets for the event by clicking here, or order the iPPV starting at just under $15 on WWNLive.com.

All iPPV orders will receive a free iPPV download of the company's 6/30 Philadelphia event, which was headlined by Mat Hardy vs. Jerry Lynn vs. Homicide. Fans ordering the iPPV for 11/17 will receive an email code for downloading the 6/30 event within 24 hours.

Here is the second and final part of our interview, you can read the first part of the interview by clicking here.

WrestlingINC: When TNA decided to have their own ECW revival, I heard they had asked you to be a part of it. Why did you turn that down?

Shane Douglas: [Laughs.] Well, I turned it down because this was a company that was paying Ric Flair $35,000 a night. And Hulk Hogan $75,000 a night. And Sting, Kurt Angle and everybody else had this incredible contracts. When they contacted me, Terry Taylor called and said, 'Hey, we want you to two days worth of work. A meet-and-greet on the first day.' They wanted me to open the show up with a "cut the f--king music" scathing promos. Then, work the match which I was told was either going to be a tag team match or a six man match later in the program.

For all that, they'd be happy to give me air fair and of course they would, because I'm not going to just walk from Pittsburgh. A hotel room and of course you would because I'm not going to sleep on the street. And pay me $1,000 for that. And I laughed at them. That's so insulting to me and to us as a company. If you can pay these dinosaurs this kind of money, then -- most of the guys on that show were making $250. To me, that was just repulsive. You would ask us to go out and do what we do better than anybody else in the business and you're paying these sports entertainers an incredible amount of money. Then, you tell us, 'Well, you're only worth this.'

If that's what Dixie Carter thought of the product... And I knew it was what she thought of the product because she had been very disdainful of it when I worked for her. She said to me one time, 'Why would we want to copy ECW? After all, they failed.' Well, it seems odd to me that a few years later, she'd be trying to squeeze the legacy to make a few bucks out of it and did a very strong buy rate out of it. Yet, still doesn't to this day respect it. So, I was thankful for the fact that they offered me the kind of money that they did and that they didn't offer me the kind of money that I thought I was worth to go in there and do that. I probably would have taken it.

Not to be immodest or anything, but in the world of ECW/extreme, I was bigger than Hogan. I was bigger than Flair. if that's the kind of money they're paying those guys, I didn't think it was outside the realm of possibility that they would pay me at least a decent wage. Not $1,000.

WrestlingINC: Did you end up watching that show and what did you think with how that went through?

Douglas: Well, I didn't watch it but I still know people that were there. I still have people that are in the TNA office that I can talk to and find out where they stand financially and what's going on in the company and stuff. They're like moles of mine in the company.

Kurt Angle Says TNA Has Dropped The Ball On Two Wrestlers, Watch The Impact Post Show

Source: The sun

- Promoting TNA Wrestling's upcoming tour of the United Kingdom and British Boot Camp in an interview with The Sun, Kurt Angle feels the company has underutilized Doug Williams and Magnus.

"I think that TNA as a whole might have dropped the ball a little bit with Doug Williams and Magnus, when you look at the talent they have," said Angle. "They are starting to use Magnus and I believe they have big plans for him. But the reason I thought they might have dropped the ball is because he was so young when he started. They might have thought 'he's just a baby, we can wait,' but four years later he's still only 25."

The interview is available here.

- TNA Wrestling has posted its latest Impact Post Show. Here is the synopsis: "Jeremy Borash is standing by as IMPACT WRESTLING goes off the air along with Todd Kenely. We hear from Bobby Roode right after his match with James Storm. Christopher Daniels is also on hand to give more insight into what happened between him and AJ Styles. We also get a word with Knockouts Referee Taryn Terrell about the Knockouts Royal and the new #1 Contender to the Knockouts Title."

Bobby Roode's music hits and he comes down with 2 beers in his hands. He says he's not here to spoil the party but to join it. He gives a beer to Storm and proposes a toast to him. Roode congratulates Storm for beating AJ Styles and not him. He slams the beers together and Storm lets it drop and clocks Roode. Roode ducks a Last Call and escapes up the ramp. Storm calls him back in but Roode says no way. He says that is unless Storm puts up his #1 Contender status. Storm says 'screw you.' Roode tells Storm to tell his daughter to call him when she turns 18. Storm obviously agrees to the match and says he's "whoopin' his a**."

-We return to video of Sting's brutal beating from last week.

-We go to Aces & 8's. They sit around a table as Doc makes a case for his worth. They tell him he will find out later how they voted. They make him take off his jacket and hand it over. Devon says they have business to take care of and walks over to the pictures of the TNA roster and throws a dart. He says, "That pri*k deserves it."

TNA X-Division Championship: Rob Van Dam vs. Kid Kash

Kash gets the jump on RVD as he enters the ring but RVD soon recovers with a body scissors pin for 2. They grapple back and forth with agility and Kash hits a head scissors takedown to RVD over the top and RVD falls out to the floor but Kash holds on and gets back in. Kash springs over and hits another head scissors to RVD on the floor. Kash sends him back in for 2. Kash comes off the top with a clothesline and catches RVD in mid-spin in the corner. Kash goes up top but RVD moves out of the way of the moonsault and Kash kisses the mat. RVD hits Rolling Thunder and gets 2.

Kash gets up and rakes the eyes and they have a nice exchange of counters. RVD sends him in and hits a spin kick. RVD sends him to the opposite corner and hits a monkey flip. RVD goes up top and hits the 5 Star Frogsplash for the win.

Winner by pin And STILL TNA X-Division Champion: Rob Van Dam

-We go to Eric Young and ODB in the back. Young tells her about a 7-foot shark he caught. She says she loves him. He talks about catching alligators and them peeing on him. International Star Added To NXT Roster, NFL Player Gives Survivor Series Picks, NXT Roster Updates

- International wrestling star Pac, who signed with WWE this past summer, has been added to the NXT roster page. He appears under his new ring name, Adrian Neville. You can check out his profile here.

- Stevie Starr's profile has also been added to the NXT roster at this link, under his ring name Gavin Reid.

- On today's 4th & Pain podcast, Washington Redskins defensive end Adam Carriker and weight loss champion Chuck Carroll made their WWE Survivor Series picks. Both strongly believe CM Punk will retain his title against John Cena and Ryback. It's a different story for the World Heavyweight Championship, where the guys split on Big Show and Sheamus. Carriker believes Big Show will retain whereas Carroll feels Sheamus will recapture the gold.

The hosts again found common ground with the traditional Survivor Series match â€" both picking Team Foley to win. The question Carriker had, however, was whether WWE Tag Team Champions Kane and Daniel Bryan will be able to co-exist now that Miz and the Big Red Machine have demonstrated synergy on Raw.

Backstage News On The Rock Winning The WWE Title, Issues WWE Officials Are Facing

Source: F4WOnline

- WWE officials are faced with two issues right now as far as The Rock winning the WWE Title at the Royal Rumble goes.

One is that The Rock winning the WWE Title will mean there are no WWE Title defenses at any live events for a three-month period.

They will also have to work out with The Rock whether or not he will be available for the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view and whether they want him to work that event. Those details may have already been worked out as it was a topic largely talked about among some of the WWE talents this past week.

It's coming down to the wire in terms of needing to have a set plan and commitments to dates considering the hectic movie promotion schedule Rock has in early 2013.

With the challenges they are facing, it's said that nothing has changed - the plan is still for The Rock to win the WWE Title at Royal Rumble, from CM Punk, and main event at WrestleMania 29, possibly against John Cena.

The Blue Meanie Discusses JBL Confrontation, If Jerry Lawler Hated ECW, Reunion Shows, More

The Blue Meanie joined Inside The Ropes Radio on Thursday to promote Extreme Rising's Upcoming iPPV. Here are the highlights:

The ECW invasion on RAW in 1997 with Jerry Lawler and if King really hated ECW: "The mentality going in there was 'lets go in there and show the rest of the country what we can do, this is going to be our sales pitch, of why they should buy our PPV' The boys there were cool. As far as Jerry Lawler calling ECW, Extremely Crappy Wrestling, I don't how much of that is legit feelings or him just working it because he's a traditional wrestler but anytime I was around Lawler, like at the ECW arena he'd always be like 'Hey guys, how ya doing?' and was a genuinely nice guy. I always got along with Jerry. If he did indeed hate ECW, I'd never have known it because he never s--t on us to our faces or nothing."

During his WWF run when Bradshaw worked stiff with him, was anything ever said backstage?: "I figured, when you go to a new place, company I should say, they would try to test you and see if you wanted to be there. In the beginning I thought I was getting tested and as an ECW guy it would've been stupid of me to be like "Hey, you hit too hard!" I just came from ECW where a lot of guys are doing crazy s--t. It was a case of being new to the company and me just thinking, I'm new to the company 'I'll take my lumps' Nothing was ever said backstage. Then there became a period of time where I was like 'Alright man, I've been here a couple of months now and there's things that were done in the ring or done backstage or things said or done on flights' where you go sometimes I can take a rib but then someone crosses the line to being something more than that. It sucks, but it happened."

People's opinions on ECW tribute shows like Extreme Rising: "Some people s--t on these reunion shows, they give them a hard time. I'm not trying to re-live a Bruce Springsteen song, My Glory Days. It's me, getting an opportunity to work with people I love to work with and an opportunity to see friends that god knows when I'll see them again."

Did he have any idea the JBL incident was going to happen?: "No not until we got in the ring. We were around each other all day, we were next to each other getting coffee, ya know. When you do these pay per view things, you need to be there at like one in the afternoon so you're there all f--king day so I was around him all day. It wasn't until we got in the ring for the Tazz and Angle, angle and I looked over and noticed he was staring at me like I was a matador wearing a pair of red pajamas. I thought "uh-oh, this doesn't look good" and the fight breaks out, and I get a punch in the back of the head."

Meanie also talks about how he got into ECW, who came up with the bWo, why he left the WWF, His weight loss causing him trouble getting bookings, his favorite road story with Mick Foley and Al Snow and more. The interview is available here.
